Dressage Trainer and Instructor

MARIUS  GEORGE  CURTEANU

Dressage has been described as “ballet on horseback” and “dancing horse”. The horse and rider work together in harmony with each other as one unit. Dressage is such a powerful, but yet graceful sport.

Instruction taken from a highly trained and experienced professional can give you a good work standard. Instruction from a well-meaning yet unskilled horseman or horsewomen can lead to the acquisition of inappropriate or perhaps even blatantly cruel riding techniques.

Instructing involves giving trainees practical demonstrations, observing their performance, identifying problems and organising training to overcome weaknesses.

Remember that we, the instructor and the students, share a common goal: to foster a great love and appreciation of the equine animal through the educated partnership of the horse and the rider. I won the right eye to discover the talent in a still not educated horse.

Riding lessons are based on classical dressage where working the horse muscles to achieve throughness is a priority.

I am  available for clinics and  coaching  students at horse shows thru Grand Prix.
